a series of adaptations, a new Super Insect has developed. You and your
team of entomologists have discovered this Super Insect and you need to
tell the world about it! Your job is to bring this new insect to life
in a 3-D model. You will build a museum exhibit that shows the
ecosystem in which this insect lives, and you will build the insect to
put in that ecosystem. Be sure that as you design the insect to
successfully live in the ecosystem you've chosen, that you also pay
attention to the specialized abilities and body parts that your insect
has. You will need
to use the guiding papers to help you engineer your insect before you
bring it to life. Once you have a plan, begin building your exhibit. As
an engineer, you have the added challenge of developing the model of
your insect with moving parts. If
you can make the exhibit interactive for your visitor, that's even
better.
