The fourth graders took part in a great deal of hands-on science at the end of the year. In addition to putting on Science Night, 2019 for the community, they were busy learning how to make circuits and work with static and current electricity. They also were challenged to create a Super Insect in our Spring STEM project. The insect had to have the body structure of an insect, but then the fourth graders were challenged to build the insect so that it would be able to survive in the chosen environment and have a number of adaptations. The final challenge was that the insect had to have moving parts to it.
