As the fourth graders worked through the first trimester, they were constantly involved in communication, collaboration, critical thinking and innovation. Those are just part of everyday learning in room 15. Take a look at the following pages to see us working on math, science, and our STEM project. We also went on two field trips, to California Caverns and Coloma. We had a special guest visit us the day our Pearley Monroe projects were due: the author of The Adventures of Pearley Monroe, Marci Seither, came by and talked with the fourth graders about writing. We had a busy trimester, and learned a lot to start the year!

Take a look at some of the activities which kept us busy through the first trimester.
